Police To Inaugurate Sub-Forum Committee To Fight Crime In South Africa

Carolina Police Command in the Mpumalanga province of the South African Police Service will hold a Sub- Forum Meeting to elect Sub-Forum committee on Thursday, 10th October, 2019 to support efforts at maintaining security in the community.

In accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, Act 108 of 1996, Section 206(3) for each province to (c) promote good relations between the Police and the Community; the committee would liaise with the police to help reduce crime in the community.

The committee, according to the Police is aimed for the police to liaise with the Community in order to achieve the objectives contemplated in Section 215 of the Interim Constitution and Section 205(3) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa to reduce crime in the community.

The Sub-Forum Meeting which is held in every five (5) years in the entire South Africa province will be held at Carolina Town Hall at 18:00.

The police is therefore inviting the entire community to attend the Sub-Forum meeting and discuss crime and crime related issues in the community and elect a Sub-Forum committee to reduce crime in the community.
