South African attempts suicide on FPSO

A South African has attempted suicide on FPSO Kwame Nkrumah offshore Ghana on Tuesday, 18 June 2019.

He was, however, rescued and currently on admission in a hospital at Takoradi, Graphic Online reported on Wednesday.

This comes a few days after a 35-year-old Ghanaian man also attempted suicide in the country’s parliament.

Mr Kojo Mensah was arrested by the security unit of parliament.

He later apologised for his misconduct and explained that it was out of frustration.
