The Ghana Police Service has revealed that the three girls, kidnapped in Takoradi in the Western region, are still alive.

Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department, DCOP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah revealed this at a press conference in Accra Tuesday.

It has been more than 200 days since the girls went missing leaving their families frustrated and in tears as they consistently pile pressure on the police to find their missing girls.

Two of the girls, 15-year-old Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie and 18-year old Ruth Love Quayson went missing in December last year, whilst 21-year-old Priscilla Blessing Bentum went missing as far back as August last year.

Some have expressed fear that the kidnapped girls might have been killed by now, but DCOP Addo-Danquah stated unequivocally that, they have successfully located where the girls have been kept.

“We know where the girls are so the parents should keep on keeping on,” she added.

The suspect in the case, Samuel Udoetuk Wills, seems to have no clue about the whereabouts of the girls.

Angry family members assaulted him outside the court when he appeared in March 4, 2019.
