.A 35-year-old shoemaker, Eric Frimpong has met his untimely death at Awutu Akrampahin in the Awutu Senya district in the Central region after he was denied medical attention.
In an interview with Adom news, friend to the deceased Michael Gyan explained that, he took his friend to Awutu Breku health centre to seek medical attention but was turned away for not having money.
“We were asked to pay GHc300 but I had only GHc50 and used GHc20 for the hospital card. So we decided to go back home and get drugs at the pharmacy but he died on my motor bike” Gyan bemoaned.
