Head coach of Hearts of Oak Kim Grant is worried by the lack of competition for domestic clubs following the cancellation of the Special Competition by the Normalisation Committee.

According to Grant, he may be forced to break camp because it is becoming “physically, mentally and financial draining” to be training without knowing the exact date for the return of competitive football in the country.

“It is physically, financially and mentally draining to be training for days without knowing when specifically to play matches.

“I’ll be forced to break camp if the Normalisation Committee don’t do something to solve issues concerning the inactivity,” he told Sikka FM.

The Normalisation Committee cancelled the Special Competition over what they describe as a ploy by club owners to frustrate their work after 14 premier league sides decided not to compete.

The clubs rejected the competition over lack of transparency on the part of the Normalisation Committee.

Meanwhile, Hearts have been ruthless in the off season, winning 12 of their 13 friendly games.
