Man found hanging dead at Kintampo

Residents of Kintampo were left in shock on Sunday after discovering the lifeless body of an unidentified man believed to be in his forties hanging near Sakafia Junior High School.

The incident, which occurred in the Dwenewoho Electoral Area, has left the community rattled, with many struggling to understand what may have led to the tragic act.

According to locals, the body was discovered around 2:00 PM, suggesting the act may have occurred earlier in the day without being noticed.

Police have since conveyed the body to the mortuary as investigations begin to establish the identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Rahim Amidu, a Unit Committee Member for the Dwenewoho Electoral Area, confirmed the discovery and called for improved mental health support within the community.

Some residents who spoke to Adom News also expressed disbelief, describing the incident as disturbing and unusual in the area.

Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to assist in the ongoing investigation.
