The Police Church near the 37 Station in Accra caught fire, sending thick plumes of smoke into the sky and attracting large crowds to the scene.
Although the cause of the fire remains unknown, personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) quickly rushed to the scene and are currently working to bring the blaze under control.
According to a report by myjoyonline.com on July 12, 2025, no casualties have been reported so far.
Eyewitnesses said the fire started in the early evening and spread rapidly through parts of the church building.
Emergency services, including fire tenders and police, arrived promptly to manage the situation and keep the crowd at bay.
Meanwhile, authorities have not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.
The extent of the damage has also not yet been confirmed.
