Kudus expresses delight after big-money move to Tottenham

Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has shared his excitement after sealing a big-money move to Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

The 24-year-old joins the North London outfit from West Ham United in a deal reportedly worth £55 million.

Kudus has signed a six-year contract with Spurs and will wear the No. 20 shirt for the upcoming season.

Speaking to the club’s official website, the former Ajax star expressed his eagerness to hit the ground running.

“It feels great to be here. I’m very happy and can’t wait to start,” he said.

Describing his style of play, Kudus noted: “I’m a very direct winger—strong, very good at taking players on and creating chances. There’s a lot of flair in my game.

“I like to entertain the fans as well. That’s what football is about—putting a memory in the heads of the fans for when they go back home, especially after the money they’ve spent to buy a ticket.

“Although there’s a lot of seriousness and competitiveness in the game, I still think it’s a sport I try to enjoy as much as I can and give the fans something to enjoy too. I hope fans are really going to enjoy what I’m bringing to the team,” he added.

Kudus arrives at Tottenham after two standout seasons with West Ham, where he quickly earned a reputation for his creativity, dribbling skills, and attacking prowess.

His addition is seen as a significant boost to manager Ange Postecoglou’s squad ahead of the new campaign.
