Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Lady Julia Celebrate Son’s Graduation from Delhi Public International School

In a touching display of parental pride, His Royal Majesty, the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and his wife, Lady Julia Osei Tutu, attended the graduation ceremony of their son, Nana Kwame Kyeretwie, at the Delhi Public International School (DPS) on June 21, 2025.

Heartwarming moments shared by the SikaOfficial X account showed the royal couple joining their son and his fellow graduates on stage for memorable post-ceremony pictures, capturing a significant milestone for the Asanteman prince.

Nana Kwame Kyeretwie is set to embark on an exciting academic journey, pursuing further studies in astronomy at Wesleyan University, North Carolina. This choice of study is particularly noteworthy as, according to the “Ashanti Nation” X account, a full degree program in astronomy is not currently offered by any public university in Ghana.

On his graduation day, the young prince, who previously served as Head Boy of DPS International Ghana in Tema, openly shared his emotions. In a video posted on X on June 21, 2025, when asked about his feelings, he candidly responded, “I feel great, but nervous. Everyone is here and all the cameras are on me.”

This occasion marks a proud moment for the Asante Royal Family as Nana Kwame Kyeretwie prepares to delve into the fascinating world of celestial objects, space, and the physical universe.
