Health ministry to begin recruitment for medical and dental officers on May 16

The Ministry of Health has announced that recruitment for medical officers and dentists who have completed their House Job and have been verified by the Medical and Dental Council under the 34th and 35th lists will begin on Friday, May 16, 2025.

In a statement dated Tuesday, May 13, 2025, it asked qualified applicants to formally apply on the ministry’s online application portal.

“The Ministry of Health wishes to inform medical officers and dentists, who have completed their House Job and have been verified by the Medical and Dental Council under the 34th and 35th list, that recruitment will commence on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 12.00pm.

“Qualified applicants are requested to formally apply on the Ministry of Health online application portal by logging in onto https://hr.moh.gov.gh and follow the instructions to select the preferred agency under the ministry, deadline for submission of application is Monday May 26, 2025, at 6.00pm”, it indicated.

The health ministry further qemphasised that the recruitment process is highly transparent.

“The public is kindly informed that the recruitment process is very transparent. Applicants should therefore beware of any person who may approach them on the pretext of assisting them for recruitment at a fee.

“The Ministry advises all applicants not to make any payment for this process. Whoever pays money does so at his/her own risk”, the statement added.
