UTRAK Brings Easter Cheer to Vulnerable Children in Kasoa

On Saturday, 19th April 2025, UTRAK Savings and Loans brought smiles and Easter cheer to children at Ghana – Make a Difference, a homeless shelter in Kasoa, Awutu Senya District.
The outreach formed part of UTRAK’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and community engagement. Staff and loyal customers from the Kasoa Branch donated essential items including rice, beans, toiletries, sanitary supplies, sachet water, and canned fish to support the shelter’s operations.
The Shelter, Ghana Make a Difference, has been serving vulnerable children for over 12 years, working closely with the Department of Social Welfare to rehabilitate and support children from as young as 8 months to 17 years old, including those with special needs.
In addition to the donation, UTRAK staff and customers spent time interacting with the children and caregivers—playing games, sharing stories, and bringing joy to the facility. They were also given a tour of the shelter, which includes a school, a surgical unit for minor procedures, and a dental clinic.
At UTRAK, we believe in giving back and staying connected with the communities we serve. This Easter activation is one of many ways we continue to show compassion, care, and solidarity with those who need it most.
