A pressure group called Action Patriots for Justice (APJ) has commended the new leadership of the Electoral Commission (EC) and the Ministry of Regional re-organization and development for successful referenda for the creation of six (6) new regions.
According to the group, the successful execution of the various referendum on the proposed six new regions that has led to the creation of additional six regions cannot be complete without acknowledging the impeccable effort and the assiduous work done by Minister of Regional re-Organization and development Hon. Dan Botwe and his deputy, Hon. Martin Agyei-Mensah Korsah.
Six new regions namely, Ahafo, Bono East, North East, Oti, Savannah and Western North will be created, making the total 16 in Ghana after a section of Ghanaians voted overwhelmingly on Thursday for the new regions.
In a release congratulating the Ministers and the Electoral Commission on the results of the referenda and coped to thepressradio.com, Action Patriots For Justice (APJ) stated that, the duo deserve commendation and promotion for achieving their core mandate with such a finesse, without any infractions or bandages of unresolved issues hanging anywhere.
“The Nana Addo-Bawumia government has proven its critiques and the pessimist wrong by fulfilling yet another important manifesto pledge which is dear to the heart of the president. This goes to support the point that, NPP is ready to develop Ghana in freedom and to make it work again”. The release said.
The seriousness of the NPP led administration to embark on massive infrastructural projects, creation of jobs, creating Conducive environment for businesses and investors, is indeed, a sign of responsible government, for the people, that has a pool of fully baked talents with the right expertise, to have the vision of the president actualized”. It didn’t come to us as a surprise when his Excellency the president, appointed these two able and fine brains to man the Regional re-organization and development ministry, because their competence and ability to make things happen and achieve results is unquestionable.

Martin Agyei-Mensah Korsah wouldn’t be idle and redundant after successfully achieving the task and target set out for them by the president but they should be reassigned and absorbed into a more needful ministry which is the mitochondria of the government, to supervise and enforce all the good policies of the NanaAddo-Bawumia administration into becoming a reality.
