‘Ignore all that very vicious and unGhanaian, evil propaganda’ – Jane Naana charges

Speaking to a gathering of Ghanaians in Lagos, Nigeria, the minister reassured the public that the Vice President is in good health and urged the public to disregard the speculation making rounds on social media and other platforms.

“I want to assure you that she is doing very, very well. Your prayers have really helped. I have heard from her, so I know what I’m talking about.

“Please ignore all that very vicious and unGhanaian, evil propaganda,” Ablakwa stated.

His comments come in response to growing online chatter suggesting that the Vice President has died after a short illness.

Previously, Ablakwa was compelled to speak about the issue for the first time when he made it clear that there was no cause for concern and that the Vice President would soon resume her duties.

The Vice President was said to have fallen ill after work on Friday, March 28, 2025, and was receiving treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).

A statement from the Minister of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on Sunday, March 30, 2025, indicated that medical experts had advised her to seek further medical attention abroad.
