Branch pastors are allocating church funds to themselves – Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah laments

The General Overseer of the Believers Worship Centre, Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah, has publicly condemned the actions of some of his branch pastors, accusing them of embezzling church funds.

In a video making rounds on social media, Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah expressed discontent over the misconduct.

“Some brothers have allocated some percentages for themselves. Look at the expenditure when it comes to television. Look at the number of radio FM stations that we have,” he stated.

He lamented about these issues while pointing out the sacrifices he has made for the church.

“I stand on my feet for four hours on Sundays. Look at the money I even deposit or give, even when I am dancing and singing. Look at the money that you shower on me. On Sunday, I gave two envelopes full of money.

“A brother at the branch allotted 30% of the proceedings for himself. When the Thanksgiving offering comes, he takes another money out of it for himself and then pays the rest,” he disclosed.

Prophet Kyei-Duah warned those involved, stating that branches found guilty of embezzling funds would face serious repercussions.

“For every organiser brother whose branch is found to have engaged in any form of embezzlement, the offering or sacrifice that I need to give this year, your branch shall not earn anything from it,” he declared.
