2026 World Cup Qualifiers: Chad arrive in Ghana ahead of Black Stars clash

Chad have reportedly arrived in Ghana ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Black Stars in Accra.

The two teams will face off on Friday, March 21, 2025, on matchday five of the qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium.

According to Ghanaian journalist Mohamed Shaban, the Chadian squad landed in Ghana four days before the match.

However, it remains unclear where they will conduct their training sessions before their mandatory practice at the Accra Sports Stadium on the eve of the game.

Meanwhile, Ghana is yet to have a full squad in camp, as some players are yet to report.

Antoine Semenyo, Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and a few others have so far arrived.

The Black Stars are set to begin training on Monday, March 17, 2025, in preparation for their crucial doubleheader against Chad and Madagascar.
