Fear grips Anomabo residents as ‘mysterious’ sheep appears on sacred rock in middle of the sea

Residents of Anomabo, a town in Cape Coast, Central Region, have been struck with fear after discovering a sheep on a sacred rock in the middle of the sea.

The spot where the sheep was spotted is inaccessible by land, as it is distant from the shore and surrounded by rough waters.

The moment, captured in a viral video, shows residents screaming in shock and immense anxiety.

This is because it is the first time such an incident has occurred in the community.

A post accompanying the video further indicated that the traditional leaders upon hearing about the incident managed to get hold off the sheep.

“Traditional leaders moved to the location and managed to retrieve the sheep; however, the community remains on edge”, the post that has gone viral on X, on March 6 read.

However, reports have stated that residents fear the bizarre incident could bring about curses.

“The unexpected presence of the sheep in a location revered by their supreme gods could bring about curses,” parts of the post stated.
