Constitution Review Committee to begin stakeholder engagements on April 7

The Constitution Review Committee (CRC) has announced a series of stakeholder and public engagements as part of efforts to revise Ghana’s Constitution.

This announcement was made in a statement released on March 7, 2025.

The initiative will feature two forms of engagement: targeted stakeholder discussions on key thematic areas and zonal public consultations across the country.

Stakeholders, including political parties, trade unions, civil society organisations, and professionals, are encouraged to submit written input on various governance topics.

These topics include land and natural resources, political parties, public services and enterprises, independent constitutional bodies, and the judiciary, among others.

The zonal engagements will begin in Accra from April 7 to 8, followed by sessions in Tamale, Bolgatanga, Wa, Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Koforidua, and Ho, concluding on May 6, 2025.
