Offset pushes for equal split, joint custody in divorce from Cardi B

Legal documents obtained by TMZ indicate that Offset is requesting joint legal custody of the three children he shares with Cardi B.

The 33-year-old emphasized that Cardi’s place should be the primary residence for the kids, but he wants the responsibility and access shared, as per reports.

Also, Offset is asking the court to lay out the obligations of each parent in supporting their children.

Furthermore, the ex-Migos rapper is asking the court to divide their marital property, insisting that it is appropriate for them both to pay their own lawyer fees.

It was Cardi’s decision to file for divorce in August, and apart from the occasional get-together over the holidays, both the music stars have consistently lived separately.

Over the past weeks, rumors of Cardi being in a new relationship have intensified, after she was spotted on a romantic date on Valentine’s Day earlier this month with NFL star Stefon Diggs.

Reports indicate that Offset has also not been idle and is involved with a couple of models.

Cardi B is yet to publicly react to Offset’s demands of custody being split equally across the two after having a public back and forth on social media with the 33-year-old months ago.
