Police begins probe as teacher tortures student in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police command has commenced investigation into an allerged torture said to have been done to a secondary school pupil of Aliyu Mustafa Academy, Jimeta- Yola, by his teacher (name withheld).
The pupil Jaafar Bashiri Tofa of SS 1 class, Awas said to have received severe beaten from the teacher but is now receiving treatment.
The Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris, frowned at the unfortunate incident, However directed Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Investigation to take over the case for discreet investigation.
The Police Boss while appealing for calm, urges members of the public particularly teachers to avoid anything that will override their official responsibilities. He assured that justice must definitely take its course.
