A blogger identified as Gistlover alleged on Monday, February 10, 2025, that Nengi was having an affair with a sitting governor and is expecting a child with him.
Nengi denied the allegations of having any relationship with the governor or carrying his baby. She stated that she respects the man and has nothing to do with him.
She wrote, “As much as I believe social media lies aren’t worth my time, I’ve come to accept that we live in a world where people are quick to spread lies without limits. So let me be clear, I’m not pregnant for any Governor.
I’ve chosen to speak coz this isn’t just an attack on me, it involves people I hold in the highest regard, and I won’t allow a beautiful, personal part of my life be turned into something ugly.
While I continue to mind my own business and enjoy my pregnancy in peace, I wish y’all love and a happy Valentine’s weekend.”
Gistlover then revealed the identity of the governor as Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri. The anonymous blogger went on to allege that the governor had been spending state funds on the reality TV star.
Gistlover wrote on Instagram, “Hello Tueh Tueh, na like this trouble dey start óò, we never drop gist them don dey run kiti kiti, how you take know who we want mention wey you talk say na who you respect, debunking in the mud, nobody deny reach all these two left legs geh, confirming baby but you no want accept say na your head bayelsa money dey waste out is evil, bayelsa people na from SA to bed to baby ooo, na who uan go face be This as Una governor dey misbehave, nengi don join the train Douye wife, una go type say una respect person for public but Una go dey suck their pr!!ck for back, eni shey orire, beautiful liar.
