Paul Kwabena Yandoh, the Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on all regional communication directorates of the party to visit the church of the Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, to apologize to him and request his return to the party.

According to him, the party neglected Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, who was very influential in the party’s success in 2016 and 2020, but the party turned its back on him when he had a police case.

“I was the one in the viral video apologizing to Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, and I will apologize to him until… I have also told all the regional communication directors to go to his church and kneel down to beg him for forgiveness so that he can come back to the NPP.

“If you look at the politics we are doing in the country, everyone has their role to play. We go to the mallams, pastors, shrines, and all sorts of places because these people vote, so if we go to them, they will support us,” he said.

Speaking in an interview on Okay FM on January 21, 2025, he explained that the NPP had not treated the man of God fairly, and as a result, they needed to apologize for mistreating him.

“If you trace Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah’s prophecies, all that he has said has come to pass, especially before the 2016 elections. He said Nana Addo would win, and he did.

“In 2020, he also said Nana would win again, and he did, but in 2024, he consistently said the NPP would lose abysmally, and it still happened as he said,” he added.

Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah prophesied a win for the NPP in the 2016 and 2020 elections, which materialized.

However, in the 2024 general elections, he declared that the NPP would lose to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The Electoral Commission Chairperson, Jean Mensa, on Monday, December 9, declared John Mahama, the NDC candidate for the 2024 general election, the winner, with a total of 6,328,397 votes.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the NPP received 4,657,304 votes.

Mahama’s party, the NDC, achieved historic success by gaining a majority in Parliament.
