According to them, the destruction of water bodies by illegal mining activities should be condemned by high-profile personalities like Kudus.
They also mentioned that there have been instances where Black Stars players, both retired and active, have spoken out against national issues, which helped to curb them.
The comments were made on X, formerly known as Twitter, after Kudus scored for West Ham United in a 4-1 win over Ipswich Town in the English Premier League on October 5, 2024.

Meanwhile, the #StopGalamsey protest is a group of Ghanaians who are aggrieved by the destruction of water bodies by illegal mining activities, calling on the government to take action to resolve the issue.
The demonstration lasted for three days, from October 3 to 5, 2024.
Some protesters were arrested by the police and are awaiting a court hearing to determine their fate.
