Ghanaian musician Amerado Burner has addressed allegations regarding his refusal to collaborate with Hiplife singer Barima Sidney.

In an interview on Joy FM, the “Kweku Ananse” hitmaker explained that inspiration plays a key role in his decision to accept a music feature.

He noted that he did not resonate well with the song he received from Sidney and therefore requested a remix from one of his hits, which unfortunately couldn’t be arranged.

“Barima Sidney sent me a song, I loved it. I spoke with my team and I thought the song was not one that I could deliver well on so I requested a remix of one of his monster hits but that couldn’t happen” he said.

He added, “Joyce Blessing sent me a song last two days and I did it yesterday for her because I could connect with the song, the overdo song even though she is a gospel artiste”.

Amerado has since urged Barima Sidney to exercise patience and stop projecting him in a bad light, expressing that they might work on a project in the future.

“I’ve seen a couple of interviews that the legendary Barima Sidney has been talking about the fact that I ignored a feature. He should take it easy on me because who wouldn’t want to work with Sidney but sometime maybe we will work on a song that I can deliver on,” he added.

Amerado has collaborated with several artistes, including Shatta Wale, Black Sherif, Sista Afia, Lasmid, Fameye, and many others.
