One of the fees that irks students is the payment of GH¢200 fees contained in a memo dated May 21, 2024.

The memo sighted by MyNewsGh.com reads “The Executive Board of the SRC and the various Hall Tutors want to announce to you the payment of;

1. Payment of this welfare will help provide donations, emergency aid, and other essential services to students in times of need.

2. Hall Dues: The hall dues will be used to maintain and repair the hall facilities, organize events, and enhance your living environment.

3. Generator fee: the generator fee will directly contribute to maintaining a backup power system on campus.

As a result of the above, each student is required to contribute a sum of GH¢ 100.00.

Payment should be made at the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) to the account name and number ATECOE SRC, 8052000072634201 respectively.

Meanwhile, the Principal of the College, Dr Samuel Addae-Boateng in releasing the fees for the 2023/2024 Academic Year for B.Ed Level 200 students indicated that students will pay GH¢300 as SRC Development charges and GH¢200 as Institutional charges sparking an uproar.
