Give Partey a lifetime contract – Arsenal fans plead after exceptional performance against Tottenham
The Black Stars deputy skipper had an exceptional game as he orchestrated Arsenal’s 3-2 win over their North London rivals.
His performance builds on his earlier excellent performance against Chelsea where his dominance in midfield helped Arsenal trounce Chelsea 5-1.
Following his recent performances, Arsenal fans believe the Ghanaian is an important figure in the team and thus deserves a lifetime contract.
Others assert that Partey makes the team tick and that no other player does what he does for the team.
A section also rated the former Atletico Madrid man as the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League.
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta after the game, emphasised the importance of Thomas Partey to the team.
“He’s a really important player and we have missed him for many months. He looks in great shape. It’s his presence, his quality, his physicality and his experience”.
Thomas Partey joined Arsenal in 2020 and signed a five-year contract. His contract will expire in 2025, therefore he has one year remaining.
