Watch as Ken Ofori-Atta “sleeps” away his impeachment Hearing

At the first hearing of the eight-member Committee formed to look into the censure motion brought against him by the Minority in Parliament, Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta was seen nodding off according to a post by theindependentghana.com

Just two hours into the hearing, which got underway today, November 15, the clearly exhausted Finance Minister was seen dozing off at a crucial hearing that would have changed his fate as the head of Ghana’s economy.

Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, the ranking member of the Finance Committee of Parliament, is testifying during the ongoing hearing for the no-confidence motion against Ken Ofori-Atta.

Dr. Ato Forson argued that the current economic crisis, which has resulted in incalculable hardship for Ghanaians every day, is primarily caused by the massive debt burden.
