Top football agent Mino Raiola is dead

Top European football agent, Mino Raiola, has reportedly passed away at the age of 54 after battling an illness.

According to breaking reports in Italy, the football agent died on April 28, 2022.

The agent represented some of the biggest names in world football, such as Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

The Italian super-agent also managed some players of Ghanaian descent who included, including Mario Balotelli, Claud Adjapong, Brian Brobbey and Derrick Luckassen.

Raiola played a role in many big-money transfers during his successful career, such as Pogba’s record-breaking move from Juventus to Manchester United in the summer of 2016.

He was attributed as the brain who changed the face football business in the world.

The news about his death came as a shock to the football community.
