There is no leader in Ghana, they are just managing – Prophet Evans

Global Senior Pastor for City of Faith Ministry- International Prophet Dr Evans Oppong has set the record straight that one of the key problems affecting the progress of Ghana is that the nation is highly deficient of leaders.
Most of the authorities in the country especially those of the political class parading themselves as leaders are not truly leaders but are just managers entrusted with positions to run the country.
Prophet Dr Evans Oppong in a strong defence indicated that because most of the existing authorities who are perceived to be leaders have until now not been able to add any value to the country’s resources, they can’t be classified as leaders.
“We have people who are just playing their role as managers. A manager will just ensure that everything is intact but a leader will find creative means to add value to what already exist. This is what is affecting the development of Ghana” he indicated.
In an exclusive dialogue with this medium, the renowned Prophet explained that Ghanaians and for that matter Africans are only schooled to be degree holders and tittle bearers forgetting that schooling does not develop a nation or a Continent.
“We don’t school to develop a nation but we educate to develop a nation. We school for certificate and educate for development…” he said.
Prophet Dr. Evans Oppong, an international preacher who is noted for his deep intellectual capacity further averred that “the problem of Ghana is that we have many people who are schooled for certificates but are not productive all because their brains have been tuned to that direction. We have students who are just memorising theories and principles but are not thought on how to make an impact with what they have gained” he noted.
“There should be a pragmatic and a practical approach in doing things before we will be able to make a difference”
As a way of addressing this canker, he made a call on government to revamp Ghana’s system of schooling and education.
