The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has declared an indefinite strike action over the government’s failure to implement the 2017 – 2022 conditions of service as agreed.
According to the Association, the decision to strike was arrived at during their National Council meeting held on Tuesday 4th January 2022.
“In an emergency National Council meeting of the Colleges of Education Teachers’ Association of Ghana (CTAG) on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, the National Council unanimously agreed to embark on an indefinite strike across all forty-six Ghanaian public Colleges of Education effective Thursday January 6, 2022,” the press release from the Association announced.
