stop blaming gospel musicians in Ghana- Prophet Evans Oppong

Global Senior Pastor for City of Faith Ministry-International Prophet Dr. Evans Oppong has challenged  critics to stop blaming young gospel musicians in the country for the fallen standard currently witnessed by the music industry vis-a-vis their performance delivery.
He advised that they should instead hold the system responsible.
Most Ghanaian gospel artists in the country have of late come under tough bashing consequent to strange and unchristian attitudes put up by most of them, hence their deviation from the real objective of gospel music.
Speaking exclusively to THE PRESS RADIO ahead of an upcoming mega gospel event dubbed; ” SUPERNATURAL VISITATION which is scheduled to take off on 27th- 29th September 2018 at KNUST Great Hall , Prophet Dr Oppong Evans made an indication that the system in Ghana at the moment lacks people needed to mentor and assist young and upcoming gospel musicians and well position them in their performance delivery both.
Majority of them according to the internationally acclaimed Prophet did not receive the grooming needed to make them right characters for the profession, hence the display of pride, arrogance, foul desire for money, disrespect among others.
Prophet Dr. Evans Oppong continued that most of the gospel musicians who fall within the foregoing category have not been able to go far in the industry as a result, adding that those who are able to make a little headway did so through try and error  method.
“Every child without a direction will definitely get lost and for most of these  young artists because of youth exuberance, they don’t really care about whatever means  they employ in the utilization of their talent even though they have the gift.” he underscored.
Prophet Dr Evans Oppong raised a strong suggestion that Ghana’s gospel industry should be given a coaching platform for the young practitioners to receive ethical training from the experienced.
This according to him will help bring sanity in the system and save the industry from the declining image.
The above-mentioned objective according to him is what the SUPERNATURAL VISITATION program hopes to achieve.
The programme is organized by CASA-KNUST in collaboration with Evans Oppong Ministries and is under the theme; “Knowledge Revolution.”.
Artists officially invited to perform at the event are; Minister Nathaniel Bassey of Nigeria, Uncle Ato, Akesse Brempong and Bro. Sammy.
