Joana Krah, the lead suspect in the latest fake kidnaping case in the Western Regional capital Sekondi Takoradi has pleaded guilty on two counts of deceiving a public officer and publication of false news.

The suspect pleaded guilty when she appeared before a Takoradi Habour Circuit Court A presided over by his honor Michael Ampadu.

The prosecutor Sergent Robert Amonoo Yawson told the court today that the other two suspects Susana Awortwe and Francis Eshun had been granted bail following a confession from the lead suspect that they were involved in the issue .

The judge has deferred her sentencing for tomorrow,Tuesday October 26, 2021.

The suspect has since been sent to the Takoradi Central Police station.

Her other two accomplices have also been granted a police enquiry bail.
