Government is believed to have released money to all Licensed Buying Companies (LBCs).

According to Ridwan Issah-Khalifah, Media assistance to Minister-designate for Food and Agriculture, the money is for the payment of cocoa farmers nationwide.

“Money has been to all LBCs for the payment of cocoa farmers,” he announced on Facebook.
