“I’ll recapture power for the NDC” – Danny Annang

Aspiring National chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Danny Annang is optimistic his leadership would recapture power for the party in the 2020 general elections.
According to the former Constituency and Regional chairman, his campaign is based on rebuilding, resourcing, redirecting and as well recapturing power for the party hence his intention to contest for the position.
In an interview with Bryt fm’s Grace Afumwaa, Mr. Annang even though accepted the fact that his contenders have qualities to lead the party, he insisted his experience cannot be compared to any of them(contenders).
“I would not say I am better than them  because they all have the qualities but I think I stand tall amongst them in terms of experience” he explained.
He was of the view the NDC needs experienced, dedicated and committed leaders to be able to match the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in any future elections.
Mr. Annang, however urged delegates to consider him as the best candidate to help resurrect the NDC from it’s unprecedented defeat in the 2016 general elections.
