Donald Trump blasted for silence on Kofi Annan

People from around the world have taken to twitter to question the silence of US President, Donald Trump, on the death of former Secretary-General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan.

Past and present world leaders took to social media or released statements on the passing of the Nobel Peace Prize winner as soon as the news of his death was made public.

Celebrities across the globe from the movie and music industries, models, footballers, renowned journalists as well as ordinary global citizens wrote messages of condolence and tributes to celebrate the life and memory of Mr Annan.

However, the world’s most powerful leader has been silent on the passing of the Ghanaian diplomat. His tweeps took to twitter to question his silence.
