77-year-old beheaded on his farm

A 77-year-old man has been allegedly beheaded on his farm at Kukurantumi in the Eastern region.

According to reports, the deceased, Opanyin Owusu Addo popularly known as Kwadwo Mensah had his arms chopped off.

Reports say  that, relatives of the deceased went to look for him after he failed to return from the farm.

When they got there, he said they saw his body decapitated in the middle of the farm.

Maxwell said the entire town has been thrown in the state of mourning following the sudden demise of the popular old man.

The incident was reported to the Kukurantumi who came for the body and deposited at the Tafo Government hospital pending autopsy.

Kukurantumi Police Commander, Supritendent Isaac Obeng Dompreh said they have commenced investigations into the matter.
