Accra Girls Senior High School has recorded six COVID-19 cases.
A publication by Citi News says some of the students were isolated at the school’s sickbay on Monday after showing symptoms of the virus.
Health official of the Ayawaso North Health Directorate were called in to access the situation.
After running test on the 11 students, 6 of them tested positive. On Saturday July 4th 2020, they were relocated to the East Municipal Hospital for treatment.
This brought fear and panic amongst the students but calm has now been restored.
