SHOCKER: Yaro KASAMBATA issues disclaimer about his name on MAHAMA Gh¢420K Fundraising List

Questions have been began to surface over claims by a group of MPs sympathetic towards former President John Dramani Mahama to the effect that they have raised over GH¢600,000 in cash through the fundraising efforts.

This follows the public issuance of a disclaimer by a former National Petroleum Authority Director of Communications, Yaro Kasambata that his name has been captured but he has made no such pledge or intends to any time soon.

MPsForMahama led by the loudmouthed Kunbumgu MP Ras Mubarak claim to have initially targeted 420 people to raise a 1000 cedis each but due to over subscription, they have now hit 600 people.

Mr Kasambata has however, in a disclaimer shared with a public audience on facebook sighted by MyNewsGh.com said the public should ignore the list as he knows nothing about it.

“I wish to state categorically that I am not part of any group of volunteers who are raising GHC420, 000 as filing fees of H. E. John Mahama.” he wrote.

“Kindly ignore any list of names in circulation which purports to include me as volunteer or fundraiser.” he added for the avoidance of doubt.
