49-year-old man ties hands of teenager, sodomises him at Kasoa

A 49-year-old man, Adamu Tawiah, has been accused of serially sodomising a 19-year old man.

The incident occurred at Peace Town, Kasoa-Amanfrom, in the Central Region.

Narrating the incident to Accra 100.5FM’s Opanyin Darko on Tuesday, 18 February 2020, the victim said: “The man asked for my name and I told him. He told me he would want me to be his friend and I agreed, so, usually, on my way to school, I see him and he sometimes gives me money.

“I paid him a visit, he gave me money and I went back home. I went to visit him at another time and he sent a boy on an errand and told me he likes me but I said no, and he tied me up and forcefully had sex with me. He tied me up”, the teenager recounted.

“Sometimes”, he recalled, “when I’m there, he calls me and then I go. He also threatened me that if I ever told anyone, something strange would befall me, so, I told a friend of mine and he went to tell my mother.

“I feel bad. When I go to toilet, I realise there’s blood in my faeces”, he narrated.

Meanwhile, the victim’s mother, Aunt Moda, confirming the incident to Accra News, explained that: “While en route to church on Friday, a certain man called Agya stopped me and told me he had heard something about my son and that he had been sodomised.”

She denied anything of that sort ever happened but the man insisted she speak to her son for the truth.

“I couldn’t stay in church that day, so, I went back home to ask my son and begged him to tell me the truth. He confirmed that a man had had sex with him. I asked what he gave him and he revealed that he gave him GHS15 in the beginning and, so, I asked how much he had given him in total and he said not more than GHS100. According to him, the man began to pursue him from Class 6 and finally had his way with him in Form 1”, the mother said.
