4-year old girl bleeds to death at Asamankese Govt Hospital after 27-year old boy’s defilement

Police at Asuokaw, near Asamankese in the Upper West Akim District of the Eastern Region, have arrested a 27-year-old pedophile for defiling a 4-year-old girl who bled profusely to death, MyNewsGh.com can report.

The suspect, Isaac Gyasi Botwe who is expected to be arraigned before the court later this week was said to have committed the dastardly act behind a bathroom near the victim’s house.

Botwe according to neighbors, lives in the same vicinity with the victim but was caught red-handed having sex with the victim.

Daniel Ofori, the victim’s uncle told the police that he was assisted by some town folks to carry the profusely bleeding child to the Asamankese Government Hospital for treatment. He declined to speak to MyNewsGh.com’s reporters about further details

He said, however, that due to the severity of the injuries, the patient was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The lifeless body of the deceased was deposited at the same hospital’s morgue pending an autopsy.

The case was subsequently reported to the police who proceeded to the scene to arrest him.
