Randy Abbey sponsored Anas to expose Kwesi Nyantakyi – Ken Agyapong

Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has accused host of Metro TV’s Good Morning show, Randy Abbey, of being behind the investigation by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

According to him, the former PRO of Hearts of Oak sponsored the deal as part of efforts to disgracing the ex-President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi.

“Randy Abbey is behind all these investigations, he just wanted to disgrace Kwesi Nyantakyi and the NPP as well…,” he claimed on Accra-based Okay FM as monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com.

Randy Abbey is the latest person to be accused by Kennedy Agyapong of having a hand in the investigations which has shaken the foundation of Ghana Football.

It had been rumoured that Randy Abbey had sought to contest the position of GFA President sometime back.

However, the man who was highly tipped for the position decided not to have anything to do with football for reasons best known to him.

The sudden disappearance from the football scene, has led many to wonder if Randy knew of the upcoming investigations against the GFA.

But Ken insists, Randy took advantage of his relationship with Kweku Baako and Anas to call for the investigations as a means of disgracing Nyantakyi.

The maverick politician further alleged that Randy also decided to sponsor the investigation so he can smear the Nana Addo administration with corruption so his ‘best friend, John Mahama can return to power in 2020.’
