‘2023 make sure u and ur family don chop’ – Wizkid replies critics after announcement of tour with Davido

Nigerian and Grammy award winning star Wizkid on Wednesday, January 18, announced that he will be going on a musical tour with colleague star Davido.

The news came as a surprise to many as the two musicians have been perceived as ‘rivals’ by their fans.

Since the tour’s announcement, fans have been ecstatic, with many looking forward to seeing the two musical greats perform together.

However there have also been jeering comments directed at Wizkid as some people believe his music career is coming to an end and he is becoming irrelevamt in the industry hence his decision to go on a tour with Davido to ‘perch on his wings’.

Wizkid in an Instastory shared a photo with two of his kids saying critics should focus on making ends meet than attacking him this year.

He wrote: “2023 Abeg make sure u and ur family don chop! Good morking kids.”
