Shatta Wale to discourage fans from using Glo

Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has threatened Glo Mobile Ghana to reconsider its decision not to pay him $120,000 to perform at its Glo Mega Music concert or he will encourage all his Shatta Movement followers to discontinue using Glo sim.

The Zylofon signed artiste in a tweet on Monday said “Glo said I wasn’t worth the money I asked them to pay me #$120,000.

But I hope they get a change of mind to sign me otherwise nothing like Glo SIM card in any shatta movement phone”.

This comes after his successful album launch on Saturday dubbed “the Reign concert” at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.

Shatta Wale stressed that if the Telecommunication Company does not review its decision of paying him the amount he was refused by them, there will be nothing like Glo SIM card in any shatta movement phone.

The Glo Mobile Ghana, it would be recalled, had penultimate week, assembled an array of Music and comedy stars from Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda to entertain its subscribers in Accra and environs at the Accreditation of its flagship comedy show, the Go Laffta Fest.

Releasing the list of artistes in a statement issued from its Ghana Head Office located on Spintex Road, Accra on Thursday, the company said that there will be two other subsequent concerts billed to hold between September and October where Nigeria’s biggest music export to the world and Ojuelegba songsmith, Wizkid and Tanzanian music icon, Diamond Platnumz, would join the current artistes to serenade audience at the shows.
