2 arrested for stealing Glo cables worth GH¢16,000

Two persons have been arrested in Binabi in the Bawku West District of the Upper East Region for stealing GH? 16,000 worth of cables.

The two, Emmanuel Nyarkonyo, 46, and Emmanuel Dadzie, 36, are both employees of Netis Company Limited.

They were caught stealing the cables under the guise of working on Glo network lines.

The two suspects and a third person, Anthony Seleele, now at large, who used the company’s pick-up with registration number GN 8731-17(Nissan), succeeded in stealing Glo cables valued GH?16,000.

Emmanuel Nyarkonyo and Emmanuel Dadzie were arrested with the cables packed in their vehicle in Binaba Township by the Binaba Police while suspect Anthony Seleele managed to escape.

The two were subsequently handed over to the Zebilla Police together with the Nissan pick-up loaded with cables while the suspects have been placed in custody.
