Zionfelix becomes first blogger to win EMY Award
Ghanaian blogger, prolific Youtuber and social media marketer/influencer, Felix Nana Yaw Adomako Mensah, well known as Zion Felix has won the PAV Ansah Communicator Award at the 2020 Exclusive Men of the Year Africa Awards (EMY Africa Awards).
He beat TV3’s Giovanni Elolo Caleb Adjomah and Joy Sports’ George Addo Jnr to win the award. The Editor-in-chief of Zionfelix.net is the first Ghanaian blogger to win this special award.
The Award scheme was instituted to honour men who have excelled in various fields in the past year.
In his acceptance speech, Zion Felix implored all bloggers in Ghana to work hard to project the country positively.
He dedicated the award to all bloggers in Ghana and also thanked all the celebrities and event organizers who have worked with him.
Zion Felix, who recently became the first Ghanaian blogger to have one million followers on Instagram, was elated and thanked all those who contributed to make him win the prestigious award.
The award ceremony which took place on Saturday, June 4, 2020, was broadcasted on Joy Prime (DStv channel 281) and online via EMY Network on YouTube, @emyafrica on Instagram or EMY Africa on Facebook.
