Woman Dies After Allegedly Poised By Her Friend
A woman has died after allegedly poised by her friend at Bole in the Northern Region.
The deceased, Ama Nyuri who operates a drinking spot called ‘Friends Corner’ died on Wednesday, 20th February, 2019.
According to report, she fell sick and her friend (name withheld) whom she works with in her drinking spot gave her some herbal concoction to drink.
After drinking the concoction, Ama Nyuri became weak and could not control herself and was rushed to the Bole Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Bole District Police Command confirmed the incident to the media.
According to the Police, the cause of the incident is not immediate known however; the friend who allegedly poisoned her has been arrested to assist in investigations.
The deceased (Ama Nyuri) who is the owner of ‘Friends Corner’ is currently at the Bole Hospital mortuary waiting autopsy.
