The Kasoa District Police Command has launched an investigation into a fire outbreak that claimed the life of renowned herbal doctor Dr Felix Antwi Dankwa, with three people arrested to assist authorities in establishing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The 67-year-old herbal practitioner, who was the Chief Executive Officer of Antwi Herbal and Spiritual Centre, died after a fire engulfed his residence and clinic in Kasoa in the Central Region. The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
According to reports, three other people who were in the building managed to escape the fire. Police subsequently arrested three individuals, including Dr Antwi Dankwa’s wife and two workers who lived at the residence. The suspects are assisting with investigations as authorities work to determine how the fire started and what led to the herbal doctor’s death.
