Wizkid and Reekado Banks reconcile as they dine together in Lagos

Superstar Wizkid and Reekado Banks were captured in a video exchanging pleasantries during a hangout in a Lagos restaurant, leading many to conclude that they have settled their beef.

On Monday, February 24, 2025, the singers were seen in a Lagos establishment, accompanied by rapper Shallipopi.

Recall that Wizkid and Reekado Banks had a falling out in 2020 when the ‘Morayo’ crooner called the Mavin Records signee a ‘clout animal’ after he posted the release date for their collaboration on X (formerly Twitter) amidst the heat of the 2020 End Sars Protest.

This led to the total shelving of the collaboration with Reekado Banks later releasing the song without Wizkid’s verse.

Four years after their falling out, the two appear to have moved past the issue and are now on good terms.
