Wife of murdered MP quits police service for parliament – Report

Accra-based Asempa FM is reporting that the widow of the slain Member of Parliament(MP) for Mfantseman Constituency, Ekow Quansah Hayford, Ophelia Hayford has been tabled as his replacement ahead of the 2020 elections.

Ophelia Hayford according to the radio station has been tabled for approval by the Natioanal Leadership of the New Patriotic Party(NPP)

It is reported that the woaman who is currently an Assistant Superintendent of Police has submitted her resignation letter to the Management of the Ghana Police Service.
