Wife of Kasoa cops killer arrested
Reports available to Adomonline.com indicates that the wife of the suspected killer of two policemen at Gomoa Budumburum, Eric Kojo Duah, has been arrested.
According to reports, she moved out of their home at Budumburam in the Central region to Teshie and was picked up by personnel of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
Joy News’ Maxwell Agagba, who visited the residence, said the house is under lock and key.
The one-storey property, police sources said belonged to the late mother of Mr Duah who was arrested by police at Atimpoku on Saturday morning as he attempted fleeing to the Volta region.
What was intriguing, Maxwell said was a police uniform hanging on a drying line in the house of the suspect.
However, residents are tight-lipped and scared to divulge information for fear of being subjects of investigations.
Meanwhile, Mr Duah has been charged with murder, and the others have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder, abetment to commit murder and murder.
The main suspects, Mr Duah, Isaac Mensah and Ibrahim Zakaria, were sent to the Bureau of National Investigations cells while the remaining three were kept in CID custody at Osu.
The case has been adjourned to September 26, 2019.
