VIDEO: Here is the Abbosey-Okai mechanic making luxurious cars out of old ones

Call it the Ghanaian version of ‘pimp my ride’ or a more localized version of Kantanka’s reassembling works but he does this at his auto mechanic shop in the heart of Accra.

Transforming all models, Osei Nyame, as he is usually called uses his skillset to transform old and raggedy-looking cars into more flashy and luxurious-looking vehicles.

Narrating how the ‘pimping process’ goes in an interview with Kofi TV, the now popular mechanic demonstrated what goes into vehicles.

He gets new car parts, those for the latest versions of the particular vehicle model being transformed and for the outside of the vehicle, he; fixes new headlights, front grille, front guard, bumpers, fender mouldings, the side steps, and the mirrors.

Depending on whether or not the interior of the car is old and needs some change, he replaces the dashboard and other interior parts of the car. For the backside of the vehicle, mouldings, tail lights, and back bumpers are some of the things he fixes.

After the fixing of the new parts, the car is sprayed.

Watch how Osei Nyame transformed the G65 model of G Wagon to its 2019 version:
